Throughout his youth, he actively participated in various theatrical, film, and commercial projects in Indianapolis. For a period, he served as the spokesperson for the Rose Hulman's Homework Hotline, and his appearance in the film is still showcased to children before undergoing surgery at Riley's Children's Hospital.
Nick attended Broad Ripple High School, where he honed his skills, and later enrolled in the University of Evansville to pursue a degree in theatre. After graduating, he relocated to New York City, where he has contributed to the development of new work with some of the city's most renowned theatres. His performances have also been featured regionally at the Denver Center and Kennedy Center, and he has had the opportunity to work on numerous student films.
