He pursued his passion for theatre at Drake University, and subsequently, he honed his skills by performing, writing, and directing numerous stage productions across the United States, as well as in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Nic is dedicated to giving back to his community, and he currently oversees the performing arts program at his children's school. He also collaborates with his husband on an international diabetes prevention program.
In his personal life, Nic resides in the picturesque town of Altadena, nestled in the mountains above Pasadena, with his loving husband, three kids, and three dogs. Although there have been whispers of adding chickens or goats to their menagerie, none have materialized... yet!
