Biography

Niamh O'Donnell, professionally known as Eilidh, hails from Glasgow, Scotland, where she was nurtured in a rich cultural environment that would later influence her pursuit of a career in the performing arts.

Upon completing her Higher National Diploma in Acting and Performance in 2018, Niamh embarked on a journey that would see her predominantly feature in short films, with Solstice serving as her inaugural foray into the realm of feature-length productions.

In addition to her work in film, Niamh has also honed her skills in the world of theatre, having taken to the stage for a two-week stint at the esteemed 2019 Edinburgh Fringe festival, as well as embarking on a month-long tour of Scotland in December of the same year with Theatre Presto's production of Handsome and Gretel, a delightful pantomime that showcased her versatility as a performer.

Currently, Niamh is in the midst of pre-production for an exciting new Scottish television pilot, Game of Cones, a project that promises to be a thrilling addition to her burgeoning filmography.

Beyond her work in acting, Niamh is also actively involved in the development of new writing, collaborating closely with a group of performers to bring Victoria Kennedy's Fault Lines to life, with the hope of staging the production by the end of 2020.

As if these endeavors were not enough, Niamh is set to embark on a new chapter in her academic journey, commencing training for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Acting at a prestigious London drama school in September of 2020.
