Nestor Sanchez Sotelo is a multifaceted creative force, hailing from Argentina, where he has established himself as a producer, director, and writer of remarkable distinction.
Sanchez Sotelo's journey in the world of entertainment began in Spain and Brazil, where he worked as a journalist and cameraman for television, gaining valuable experience and expertise that would later serve him well in his cinematic endeavors.
Upon returning to his native Argentina, Sanchez Sotelo enrolled in the prestigious ENERC, where he pursued a degree in Film Production. He astutely combined his academic pursuits with his existing skills, gradually transitioning into the world of filmmaking.
As a producer, Sanchez Sotelo has been responsible for a diverse array of films, including the pioneering horror 3D movie "Necrophobia" (2014),which made history as the first of its kind in Argentina. Other notable productions include "Polvareda" (2013),"Industria Argentina" (2012),"Rouge Amargo" (2012),and "Adopción" (2009),which have collectively garnered recognition and accolades at various international independent film festivals.
In addition to his work as a producer, Sanchez Sotelo has also ventured into writing and directing, with his debut feature "Testigos Ocultos" (co-produced with Spain) released in 2001. His second directorial effort, "Los Nadies" (2014),is a poignant exploration of contemporary social issues, set against the backdrop of a landfill site.
