Nera Stipicevic is a multifaceted Croatian performer, boasting a remarkable career in both stage and film acting, as well as singing. Born along the picturesque Croatian coast, in the charming town of Makarska, her journey in the world of arts began to unfold.
After graduating from the prestigious Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 2010, Stipicevic made her mark on the Croatian National Theater with a remarkable performance in the 2007 rendition of Bertold Brecht's "The Threepenny Opera". Her portrayal of Anka Prpalo in the 2008 play "Fantazija", staged in the Croatian National Theater Sibenik, earned her a nomination for the best young operetta/musical actress at the Croatian annual drama awards in 2008. Moreover, Stipicevic co-wrote the music for this play, showcasing her versatility and talent.
Stipicevic's impressive performance in the Croatian National Theater's 2008 rendition of "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" by Horace McCoy, where she played the role of Lily Bacon, garnered her a nomination for the best young drama actress at the Croatian annual drama rewards in 2009.
