Neil Young is one of the most highly esteemed and remarkably productive rock and folk guitarists of the late 20th century, with a professional career spanning multiple decades. Born and raised in Canada, Young initially gained widespread recognition as a guitarist and occasional vocalist for the iconic rock band Buffalo Springfield. Following the band's disbandment, Young transitioned to a successful solo career, but he has also spent over three decades performing alongside the esteemed super-group Crosby Stills Nash & Young, as well as the renowned rock band Crazy Horse. Furthermore, Young has collaborated with the influential grunge band Pearl Jam, releasing an album with them in 1995. In addition to his work as a musician, Young has been actively involved in the film industry, producing and/or performing in a range of concert films, including the critically acclaimed Rust Never Sleeps (1979),Year of the Horse (1997),and numerous other notable releases. He has also been involved in the production of non-musical films, including Human Highway (1982) and Made in Heaven (1987).
