Neil Marshall is a renowned British film and television director, writer, and producer, born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, North of England. He made his feature film debut with the successful 2001 movie 'Dog Soldiers'. Marshall's subsequent feature, 'The Descent', released in 2005, was an even greater critical and commercial hit, earning several awards, including the BIFA for Best Director and the Empire Award for Best Horror.
