Negar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Stage Design from the prestigious School of Art and Architecture at Azad University in Tehran, Iran. Her impressive academic background has served as a solid foundation for her illustrious acting career, which began in theatre at the tender age of sixteen.
In 2001, at the age of seventeen, Negar made her film debut in the critically acclaimed "I'm Taraneh, 15" (2002). This marked the beginning of a successful and prolific career, with a wide range of films and theatrical performances to her credit.
Some of Negar's recent notable films include "The Painting Pool" (2013),for which she received a nomination for the Best Actress Award from the esteemed Asia Pacific Screen Academy in Australia. She also shone in "Here Without Me" (2011),earning the Best Actress in the Supporting Role at the 15th Cinema Home Ceremony in Iran.
Furthermore, Negar's impressive performances in "Gold and Copper" (2010) and "Before the Burial" (2008) garnered her several prestigious awards, including the Best Actress in the Leading Role Award at the 28th Fajr Film Festival in Iran and the Best Actress prize at the 11th Osian's Cinefan Festival in India, respectively.
In addition to her film work, Negar has also made a name for herself in the world of theatre. Her remarkable performance in the play "The Fourth Wall" (2012-2013) earned her the Best Performance of the Year award in Iran. She has also starred in two theatrical plays, "Ivanov" (2011) and "Where Were You on January 8th?" (2010),which have toured European festivals.
