Nathan Scoggins is a multi-talented writer, producer, and director who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. His journey began with a series of award-winning short films, two of which were released by Lionsgate as part of the "Crave" anthology.
Scoggins' first feature film as a writer/director was "The Least of These", which boasted an impressive cast including Isaiah Washington, Bob Gunton, and the late Robert Loggia. The film premiered on STARZ and Netflix before being released on DVD by Universal.
As a writer, Scoggins has worked on a variety of projects, including a faith-based comedy for Lionsgate, "Riven", and "God Grew Tired Of Us", a film about the lost boys of the Sudan. He also collaborated with friends and fellow filmmakers on the successful "Sling Baby" commercial, which aired during the 2012 Super Bowl, and co-directed "Fashionista Daddy", which aired during the 2013 game.
In addition to his writing credits, Scoggins has also produced several films and TV shows, including the TV movie "The Perfect Summer", which premiered to 3M viewers on UPTV before its DVD release, and the independent feature "Red Line".
Scoggins' latest feature as writer/producer/director is "What Remains", which premiered at the prestigious Austin Film Festival before being released theatrically. The film stars Cress Williams, Kellan Lutz, and the late Anne Heche, and is now available on SVOD, TVOD, and PVOD.
In addition to his work in film, Scoggins has also directed two episodes of an upcoming TV show for Sony Affirm, and is currently in development on a number of different projects. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three daughters.
