Biography

Natasha Gregson Wagner, the daughter of film star Natalie Wood and British producer/writer/agent Richard Gregson, was born on September 29, 1970, in Los Angeles. Her mother, of Russian heritage, was christened Natalia but affectionately nicknamed Natasha during her childhood. Natasha's parents separated before she was a year old, and when her mother remarried actor Robert Wagner, Natasha was informally adopted by her stepfather.

Natasha's early interest in acting was hardly surprising, given her Hollywood upbringing. However, the tragic drowning of her mother in 1981, when Natasha was just 11, left deep emotional scars that would influence the dark-edged roles she would play in Hollywood.

Natasha's acting career began with a minor role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992) and early appearances in TV-movies such as The Shaggy Dog (1994) and Dragstrip Girl (1994). She gained recognition with her top role in the "Hart to Hart" TV mini-movie in 1995, which reunited her with her stepfather and co-star Stefanie Powers.

Natasha's breakthrough came with her edgier, risk-taking roles in films such as Lost Highway (1997),Quiet Days in Hollywood (1997),and Two Girls and a Guy (1997),which showcased her gift for gab and off-the-wall magnetism. She continued to offer solid work in hit-and-miss showcases, including First Love, Last Rites (1997),Dogtown (1997),and Another Day in Paradise (1998).

Natasha has taken a few turns into the mainstream, including a role in the slasher horror opus Urban Legend (1998) and as a decapitated victim. She has also appeared in films such as Glam (1997),The Medicine Show (2001),Wishing Time (2003),and Wonderland (2003).

In her personal life, Natasha married screenwriter/co-producer D.V. DeVincentis in 2003, after meeting on the set of High Fidelity (2000). The couple divorced, and Natasha gave birth to a daughter, Clover Clementyne, with actor Barry Watson in 2012. The couple married in 2014, and Natasha has also appeared in TV shows such as Pasadena (2001),The 4400 (2004),Medium (2005),Cold Case (2003),ER (1994),CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000),House (2004),The Closer (2005),and Date My Dad (2017).
