Natasa Janjic-Medancic is a renowned Croatian actress, recognized for her versatility and talent in both film, stage, and television productions. Her journey in the world of acting began at a young age, with her studies at the Youth Theater in Split.
Following her completion of school in the year 2000, Natasa pursued her passion for acting and journalism by enrolling in Zagreb's Academy of Dramatic Arts. During her time at the academy, she had the opportunity to play a wide range of roles, showcasing her impressive acting skills.
Some of the notable roles she played during her studies include Julia from Shakespeare's iconic play "Romeo and Juliet", Elektra, Queen Maria from E. Ionesco's "The King Dies", Christine from O. von Horvath's "Hotel Bellevue", Melita from Krleza's "Leda", Solveig and Anitra from Henrik Ibsen's "Peer Gynt", and Kate from Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew".
Natasa's academic journey culminated in her graduation with the role of Martha from E. Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", under the guidance of her mentor, Borna Baletic, in the year 2004.
Since 2006, Natasa has been a permanent member of the ensemble at GDK "Gavella" in Zagreb, further solidifying her reputation as a talented and dedicated actress.
In her personal life, Natasa married orthopedist Nenad Medancic in December 2018, taking his last name and starting a new chapter in her life.
