Nancy Stafford was born in Wilton Manors, Florida, a charming suburb of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was raised in a traditional Southern Baptist family home, steeped in strong Christian values and a sense of community.
Throughout her illustrious career, Nancy has had the privilege of starring in numerous iconic television shows, including the action-packed Riptide (1984),the stylish and sophisticated Remington Steele (1982),the espionage-filled Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983),the popular sitcom Who's the Boss? (1984),the crime-fighting series Hunter (1984),and the groundbreaking sci-fi show Quantum Leap (1989). Additionally, she has made memorable guest appearances on other notable programs, such as Magnum, P.I. (1980).
Nancy's most notable and enduring role, however, is undoubtedly her portrayal of a regular character on the beloved television series Matlock (1986),alongside the legendary Andy Griffith.
