Biography

Mary Pimental, a native of Massachusetts, earned a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a prestigious institution of higher learning. Alongside her academic pursuits, she also cultivated her passion for the performing arts by studying classical acting at a renowned theater conservatory in Boston.

Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Pimental's talents in the realm of comedy were put to the test as she began performing stand-up and improv comedy. Her exceptional skills did not go unnoticed, and she was subsequently hired as a writer for Comedy Central's critically acclaimed animated series, South Park, in March of 1998.

In addition to her work on South Park, Pimental has also made significant strides in the world of screenwriting. She has successfully sold her first screenplay to Columbia Studios, a romantic comedy slated to star the talented Cameron Diaz and scheduled for production in March. Furthermore, Pimental has penned a pilot for Warren Littlefield of NBC Studios and Fox, which will star the charismatic Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg.
