Naleah hails from the charming city of Modesto, California, where her mother sought to instill a sense of propriety and decorum by enrolling her in ballet class at a young age. Little did she know that this would be the catalyst for Naleah's lifelong passion for dance, as she would go on to fall deeply in love with the art form.
As she entered her teenage years, Naleah's talent and dedication earned her a coveted spot at the esteemed Broadway Theater Project, where she had the privilege of meeting her mentor, the renowned Ann Reinking. This pivotal experience marked the beginning of her journey towards a career in the performing arts.
Upon graduating from high school, Naleah made her Broadway debut in the hit musical "The Boy From Oz," starring alongside the talented Hugh Jackman. She would go on to perform in several other notable productions, including the national tours of "Chicago The Musical" and "Fosse," as well as the Off-Broadway show "No Strings." Throughout her career, Naleah has remained committed to her first love, singing and dancing.
As she embarks on this new chapter in her life, Naleah is thrilled to announce that she and her husband are expecting their first child in November 2010.
