Myra (Williams) McWethy, a multifaceted character actress, hails from Northern Illinois and began her theatrical journey in San Diego in 1996. She transitioned to Los Angeles in 2003 to take on the starring role in "Menopause, the Musical" at the Coronet Theatre, subsequently transferring to the Off-Broadway production in 2005.
Throughout her career, Myra has divided her time between Los Angeles, San Diego, and Nashville, Tennessee, pursuing opportunities in theatre, television, and film.
Educationally, Myra boasts a dual major in theatre and journalism/public relations from Bradley University, complemented by a master's certificate in creative writing from UCLA, a master's degree in critical and creative thinking from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and a master's degree in religion/social justice from Harvard University.
Notably, her Harvard Cornerstone Paper, focusing on the United Citizen's Committee for Freedom of Residence in Illinois, 1959-1963, is set to be published in the Fall 2025 issue of the "Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society".
