Mylène Dinh-Robic, a francophone of Vietnamese and Quebecois heritage, was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated with distinction from Concordia University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a double major in Film & Multimedia Production.
Mylène continued her education, studying acting with renowned instructors Nancy Sivak & Ben Ratner in Vancouver and Gilles Plouffe and John Strasberg in Montreal. With over twenty years of experience, she has worked extensively in various mediums, including stage, camera, and video games.
Her impressive career includes notable roles in television series such as Da Vinci's City Hall, The Listener, and Plan B, as well as critically acclaimed French network TVA's 'Les Bracelets Rouges'. Mylène received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 2015 Montreal ACTRA Awards for her portrayal of Beatrice 'Bear' Hamelin in Bravo Canada's award-winning cop drama '19-2', a role she played for four seasons.
Mylène's passion for the theatre has led to several artistic opportunities. In 2007, she co-produced and co-starred in a Studio 16 production of Alan Bowne's controversial play 'Beirut' in Vancouver with fellow actor Adam Lolacher. She also co-produced and performed on stage again in 2011 when friend and fellow actor Noah Davis asked her to read his original stage play 'Point no Point', which they co-produced and starred in at Toronto's Tarragon Theatre.
In 2017, Mylène was honored to represent and serve as the spokesperson for Montreal's Festival Accès Asie, a celebration of Asian artists and storytellers that bridges gaps and promotes appreciation for the city's diverse cultural landscape. As a proud Vietnamese-Canadian, Mylène is deeply committed to promoting the incredible talent and work of fellow Asian artists in her hometown.
Her greatest achievements are her two children, Edward and Élénore, who bring joy and meaning to her life. She uses her professional platform to raise awareness about her passions, including health & nutrition, biodiversity, climate change, and animal welfare, striving to make a positive impact on the world.
