Navabi was born in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, and subsequently attended Phillips Academy, a prestigious boarding school located in Andover, Massachusetts, where she honed her academic skills and developed a strong foundation for her future endeavors.
Following her time at Phillips Academy, Navabi pursued higher education at Barnard College, Columbia University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature. Her academic achievements were further bolstered by her subsequent Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the esteemed Yale School of Drama.
Navabi's passion for the performing arts led her to receive additional training at the renowned Guthrie Theater in Minnesota and the Public Theater's Shakespeare Lab in New York, further refining her craft and broadening her skills.
MarnĂ²'s impressive acting credentials include a one-woman show titled "Nine Parts of Desire," in which she masterfully portrayed nine distinct Middle Eastern women, garnering rave reviews and showcasing her remarkable range and versatility. The show was successfully performed at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Throughout her life, Navabi has had the opportunity to live in various countries, including France, Germany, Sweden, and Argentina, and has developed a remarkable proficiency in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Farsi, and Spanish.
In addition to her acting accomplishments, Navabi is also an accomplished playwright, with her first play, "When the Lights Went Out," premiering at New York Stage & Film, starring the talented Laura Innes, and directed by the acclaimed Kate Whoriskey.
