Morgan was born in Burton On Trent, England, to Welsh parents, and spent his formative years in Cardiff, Wales, where he engaged in various activities, including working, playing rugby, and participating in theatre. This exposure and experience ultimately led him to apply and audition for a place at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he successfully gained a BA honours Degree in Theatre Studies upon graduating.
Following his academic achievements, Morgan relocated to London and has been actively pursuing a career in acting since then. In addition to his acting endeavors, he has also taught Drama at a local college, where he met his future wife. Furthermore, Morgan has taken up Judo, becoming a member of the renowned Budokwai, London, and has since achieved the status of an assistant Judo Coach and 1st Dan Black Belt.
Morgan's interests extend beyond the realms of acting and Judo, as he is also an avid cyclist. His passion for cycling led him to qualify as a Cycle Training instructor, and he now dedicates his time to teaching children and adults how to ride and commute safely in London.
Although Morgan no longer actively participates in rugby, he remains a die-hard and passionate supporter of the Welsh Rugby team, consistently following their matches and celebrating their victories.
