Biography

Morena Baccarin's life began in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she was born to a talented mother, Vera Setta, an actress, and a father, Fernando Baccarin, a journalist. Notably, her uncle, Ivan Setta, was also an actor, hinting at a strong family tradition in the performing arts. With roots tracing back to Italy, Lebanon, and Portugal/Brazil, Morena's diverse heritage undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping her unique perspective and artistic approach.

At the tender age of 10, Morena's family relocated to New York City, where her father's work took them. This pivotal move would ultimately influence her future in the entertainment industry. She attended the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts, where she honed her skills alongside other aspiring artists. Following her time at LaGuardia, Morena went on to study at the renowned Juilliard School.
