Monica Keena, a talented individual, was born on May 28, 1979, in Brooklyn, to parents Bill and Mary Keena, and had a younger sister named Samantha, who was the Keenas' first daughter. As she grew up, Monica demonstrated exceptional skills in various artistic fields, including dance, singing, acting, and drawing. Her passion for the arts was evident from a young age.
At the age of 13, Monica enrolled in the prestigious LaGuardia school for acting, where she excelled and secured a spot. Her first film role came at the age of 15, followed by a series of television movies, including First Daughter (1999) and the A Promise Kept: The Oksana Baiul Story (1994). Her breakthrough role came at 16, when she starred in the movie Ripe (1996),which remains her favorite role to date.
In 1998, Monica made her television debut on the WB's Dawson's Creek, playing the character of "Abby Morgan" and quickly gained recognition for her truth-telling portrayal. However, she eventually left the show, citing boredom with playing a single character.
Today, Monica continues to pursue her passion for acting, appearing in films such as Freddy vs. Jason (2003),Man of the House (2005),and Fifty Pills (2006). In her free time, she enjoys skating, a hobby that brings her joy and relaxation.
