Mona Lee Fultz is a renowned German-born American actress, Juilliard graduate, and esteemed acting coach with an extensive career spanning over four decades. With more than 50 films, TV movies, and commercials to her credit, she has also made significant contributions to regional theatre, major motion pictures, and network television shows. As the principal and artistic director of BriteLites Acting Studio in Austin, Texas, Mona has been a sought-after mentor and coach for numerous aspiring actors.
Born in Germany, Mona came to the United States with her German mother and military father. She was awarded a full scholarship to the Juilliard School under the guidance of legendary producer John Houseman. Mona's theatrical experience includes performances at Lincoln Center, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and numerous stage productions in California, New York, and Texas.
In recent years, Mona has appeared in prominent supporting roles in feature films such as Angel Dog, The Teller and the Truth, Richard Linklater's Boyhood, and Bernie, alongside fellow Texan and friend Matthew McConnaughey. She has also co-starred in episodes of NBC's Friday Night Lights, Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva, NBC's The Chase, and My Generation.
Mona has worked with renowned directors, including Richard Linklater, with whom she has collaborated on six projects. In his critically acclaimed film Dazed and Confused, Mona played the role of Mitch's "ear-pulling" mom. She has also worked with Linklater on the award-winning animated feature Waking Life.
Mona's notable film credits include the 20th Century Fox film Hope Floats, directed by Forest Whitaker, and The Legend of Billie Jean, co-starring with Christian Slater. Her fellow actors and classmates at Juilliard included Robin Williams, Christopher Reeve, Mandy Patinkin, Kevin Kline, Patti Lupone, Elizabeth McGovern, and Christine Baranski.

In her personal life, Mona is a passionate gardener and often finds solace in her garden, surrounded by native and tropical flora. She is the eldest of seven children and has a deep appreciation for the diversity of cultures in Texas, particularly the Mexican culture and people.
