Biography

Molly Hill McClure, a remarkable individual, was born on January 19, 1919, in Watsonville, California, to Neva Hill and William Eanest Karnes. Unfortunately, her mother passed away shortly after her birth, and Molly was subsequently raised in Paducah, Kentucky, by her aunt and uncle, Blanche and Frank P. Hill.

From a young age, Molly was drawn to the world of acting and the stage, and she went on to co-found a theater company in Paducah. Her passion for the performing arts was evident, and she continued to pursue her dreams throughout her life.

In 1939, Molly married Rush Delbert McClure, with whom she had three daughters. However, the couple eventually divorced.

After her youngest daughter graduated from high school and left for college, Molly made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an actress on the stage and screen. She spent many years honing her craft, working tirelessly to achieve her goals.

Eventually, Molly decided to retire from the acting business and moved to Texas to live with her eldest daughter. Despite the challenges she faced, Molly remained a strong and independent individual, always staying true to herself.

Molly McClure passed away peacefully on August 15, 2008, at the age of 89, in Plano, Texas, following a brief illness. She was survived by her three daughters, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
