Mohan Kapur, a television personality, has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning over three decades. He rose to fame as the first television personality with his unique, witty, and charming banter on the popular game show "Snakes and Ladders", also known as "Saanp Seedi". This show marked a significant milestone in the Asia-Pacific region as it was the first satellite program to air when Zee TV launched on October 1, 1992.
Prior to the launch of Zee TV, the region was limited to government-run broadcasting. Mohan's immense popularity on "Saanp Seedi" led him to transition into the feature film industry, where he made his debut as the main villain in the film "Beqabu".
Throughout his career, Mohan has appeared in over 50 films, including "Coffee Bloom", "Hate Story", "Scavenger's Daughter", "Jolly LLB", "Haunted 3D", and international box office hits such as "Bodyguard" alongside Salman Khan and "Happy New Year" alongside Jackie Schroff and Shah Rukh Khan.
Mohan's first Hollywood feature film was "Heartbeats", directed by Duane Adler, the creator of the "Step Up" franchise. In 2020, he reprised his role as 'Subramanian' in Season 2 of the Disney+ Hotstar Specials series "Hostages", earning a nomination for 'Best Negative Role' at the Gold Awards in 2019.
