Person Biography:
Adam started his journey in the performing arts as a thespian, accumulating a remarkable 44-year career, during which he has acted in, directed, and produced approximately 60 plays of every genre.
Throughout his illustrious career, Adam has had the privilege of collaborating with every major theatre production company in the country, as well as performing overseas.
Adam made his film acting debut in a cameo role in Uberto Passolini's award-winning film "Machan" and has since acted in eight films, including one alongside the renowned Sir Ben Kingsley and a Bollywood movie, "Bombay Velvet," featuring Ranbhir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
Adam has also co-produced two international award-winning films, "With You, Without You," for which he received a personal nomination at the APSA Awards in Brisbane, Australia, and "The Strange Familiar."
In addition to his work in film and theatre, Adam is a regular judge at national drama competitions and has received numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to drama and literature. He was awarded the TOYP (Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Sri Lanka) Award and the "Synergy in Theatrum" merit award, both for his remarkable work in the field of drama and literature.
Adam's achievements did not go unnoticed, as he was selected for the prestigious Open Doors Lab at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland in 2017.
