Born in Red Deer, Alberta, Mittita was a spirited child with an incredibly vivid imagination from a young age. Her natural athleticism and tomboyish tendencies were a defining characteristic of her early years. However, it wasn't until her middle school years that she discovered her true passion for the dramatic arts.
Participating in school plays, musical theatre, and local summer theatre programs, Mittita received guidance from spirited teachers who nurtured her talent. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for the arts, which would shape her future endeavors.
Mittita seized the opportunity to receive intensive training from a renowned Los Angeles acting coach, spending two years in L.A. This rigorous, fulfilling, and rewarding experience honed her acting skills and prepared her for the challenges of the entertainment industry. However, it was time to put her skills to the test in Vancouver, a city that would offer her a platform to showcase her talents.
Since her move to Vancouver, Mittita has continued to stretch her acting chops, appearing in a variety of film and television productions. Her credits include the popular TV shows Supergirl and Supernatural, as well as the thriller film Bad City. In the slasher/thriller "Crowsnest," she played the lead character, escaping death alongside her friends. Most recently, she showcased her flirtatious side in the romantic drama "You Me Her."
