Notably, his feature project, The Eviction, has been selected for the 2024 Tribeca Creators Market, a prestigious achievement that underscores his burgeoning talent. Additionally, Mitch has had the distinction of participating in the inaugural 2024 Rising Voices Canada program, a career accelerator launched by a coalition of esteemed organizations, including BIPOC TV & Film, Indeed, Hillman Grad, and TIFF. Furthermore, he has the distinction of being an alumnus of the 2023 CFC Norman Jewison Film Program and the 2022 Warner Brothers Discovery x Canadian Academy Writers Program.

In terms of his educational background, Mitch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, as well as a diploma in Comedy Writing & Performance from Humber College. He has also completed a post-graduate certificate in Screenwriting & Narrative Design from George Brown College, and, as a testament to his dedication, he has earned a piece of paper for graduating from the Second City Conservatory.
Beyond his creative pursuits, Mitch is also a professor in the Faculty of Media & Performing Arts at George Brown College, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of artists.
