Born and raised in the vibrant city of Cleveland, Ohio, Mitchell embarked on a journey that would take him to the sun-kissed streets of Los Angeles, a move prompted by his impressive career in the sports business world. Prior to making the cross-country leap, Mitchell had already made a name for himself, having worked for esteemed organizations such as GMR Marketing, the NFL's Cleveland Browns, and the renowned sports apparel brand, adidas.
Mitchell's athletic background is rooted in his collegiate days, where he competed in baseball at Kent State and Ashland University, the latter being a notable milestone as it was the first-ever team to reach the College World Series. His academic pursuits led him to earn a Master's degree in Sports Business from West Virginia University.
Upon landing in Los Angeles in 2005, Mitchell's career took a dramatic turn as he began to carve out a new path in the entertainment industry. He has since appeared in over 50 commercials and multiple television shows, securing roles in hit TV series such as CSI, General Hospital, Mad Men, and most recently, Bosch.
However, Mitchell's journey was temporarily put on hold in 2018 when he was diagnosed with cancer, a health scare that ultimately led to his being in remission. Despite this setback, Mitchell remains an advocate for mental health awareness and continues to work with various youth empowerment programs in the Los Angeles area.
Today, Mitchell resides in Los Angeles with his loving wife and children, and his story serves as a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and perseverance.
