Person Biography:
Mr. Lobo, the host of the nationally syndicated cult movie show Cinema Insomnia, has been a fixture in the late-night TV scene for over 15 years. His innovative approach to film hosting has earned him a loyal following and a reputation as a master of bad movie presenting.
Outside of Cinema Insomnia, Mr. Lobo is a man of many talents. He has made numerous appearances in independent genre films, including the role of Criswell in the remake of Plan 9 From Outer Space. He has also been involved in several documentaries centered on films, sub-genres, film hosts, and television shows.
In addition to his work in film and television, Mr. Lobo has also lent his distinctive voice to commercials and trailers. He has worked on campaigns for Hardware Wars and the anthology film Midnight Show, among others. He has also released a spoken word album, Horrible Noises of Mr. Lobo's Very Bad Manor, which was ranked as one of the Top 40 Halloween Recordings by iTunes.
Mr. Lobo has made hundreds of live appearances all over the country, and has been a special guest at several conventions, including Wondercon and MonsterBash. He is also the current MC at Blobfest.
