Biography

Mishu, a multifaceted creative force, has made Chicago his current abode, where the harsh winters have seemingly been no match for his unyielding passion for storytelling, which has been fueled by his extensive experiences in various cities across the United States.

Prior to settling in Chicago, Mishu has had the privilege of calling New York, specifically Brooklyn and Binghamton, home, where he has been able to absorb the vibrant energy and cultural diversity of the city that never sleeps.

In addition to his time in New York, Mishu has also had the opportunity to live in New Orleans, a city known for its rich history, jazz heritage, and Mardi Gras celebrations, where he has undoubtedly been influenced by the city's unique blend of French, Spanish, and African cultures.

Furthermore, Mishu has also resided in Whitewater, Wisconsin, a small town with a strong sense of community, where he has been able to appreciate the simple pleasures of small-town life and the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape.

Throughout his journey, Mishu has been able to draw inspiration from each of these cities, which have undoubtedly shaped his unique perspective and artistic voice, allowing him to bring a diverse range of experiences and influences to his creative work.

Mishu's journey in the entertainment industry began with a decade-long odyssey in the unpredictable realms of theater and comedy, marked by a tumultuous quest for validation that ultimately proved to be a fertile ground for his subsequent foray into writing, performing, and directing.

Notably, he showcased his versatility by writing, starring in, and producing an original comedy special, "Trapped in the Netflix," a creative endeavour that demonstrated his capacity for innovation and originality. Additionally, he crafted the play "Good Morning Gitmo," a work of "diluted social satire" that offered a unique perspective on contemporary social issues. Furthermore, he took the reins as the director of the interactive theatrical experience "Out to Get You," a project that embodied the essence of unwieldy creativity, earning praise from the Chicago Reader, which aptly described it as "the sort of unwieldy mess only true ambition could create."

Mishu has chosen to deliberately disentangle himself from the realm of live performance, opting instead to redirect his creative energies towards the world of filmmaking, where he continues to hone his multifaceted skills as a writer, director, and producer, crafting a diverse array of projects that showcase his versatility and artistic vision.
