Misha, a Puerto Rican storyteller, was born and raised in the Bronx, New York City. She is a multi-hyphenate artist with a passion for acting, writing, and directing. Her journey has taken her from New York City to Germany and ultimately to Hollywood, where she has accumulated extensive credits on stage, television, and in film.
Misha's connection to her cultural heritage is deep, and she is committed to telling authentic stories that blend her rich American/Caribbean roots with powerful, universally resonant narratives. She is a graduate of Performing Arts High School in NYC and earned a BA from Cornell University. She later earned an MBA abroad in Heidelberg, Germany, and is fluent in both Spanish and German languages.
After a six-year absence from New York and acting, Misha returned to the city to resume her career. She then moved to LA, where she has accumulated numerous dramatic and comedic credits in television and film, including True Blood, This Is Us, American Horror Stories, Grey's Anatomy, How To Get Away with Murder, and The Pitt. She has also appeared in films such as Seberg with Kristen Stewart, In My Pocket, and has done voice-over work for various commercial and video game projects.
Misha's passion for characters and storytelling led her to write a one-woman-show, "Hummingbird", which premiered in 2016 and had a successful run in LA. The show was later revived as an Actors' Equity production off-Broadway in 2023 and received an honorable mention at the 2023 Solo United Festival. "Hummingbird" also featured an original song written by Misha, earning her the multi-hyphenate status of actor-writer-director-producer and lyricist.
In 2023, during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Misha became a union captain on the front-line, organizing and educating her peers about the next chapter of change within the union and entertainment industry. She is also a proud member of Latinas Acting Up (LAU),a national organization that aims to promote representation, opportunities, and fair treatment of Latinas in the entertainment industry.
Misha enjoys her bi-coastal living in LA and NYC and is a proud dog mom to her Shepherd/Terrier rescue, Dolly.
