Biography

Mimi Kuzyk is a renowned actress born in Winnipeg, Canada, who has made a lasting impact in the entertainment industry. She is best recognized for her memorable roles in the iconic television series "Hill Street Blues" (1981) and "Blue Murder" (2001).

Growing up in Winnipeg with her brother and five sisters, Mimi developed a passion for dance at the tender age of eight. This passion led her to join the Rusalka Folk Ensemble, where she honed her skills as both a dancer and choreographer for an impressive fifteen years. As she continued to pursue her love for dance, Mimi realized that she was happiest on stage, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in acting in Toronto.

After a series of commercials and small television roles, Mimi made the bold move to Los Angeles in 1983. It was during this time that she landed a recurring role as Patsy Mayo in the critically acclaimed series "Hill Street Blues" (1981),a role that undoubtedly cemented her place in the industry. However, Mimi considers her greatest achievement to be her daughter, Kaliopi.

Throughout her extensive career, Mimi has appeared in a wide range of film and television productions. Her notable film credits include "Camille" (2008),opposite Sienna Miller and James Franco, "The Human Stain" (2003),starring Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman, as well as the science fiction thrillers "The Final Cut" (2004) with Robin Williams, and "The Day After Tomorrow" (2004). Her impressive body of work also includes "Lost and Delirious" (2001),which earned her a Genie nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

On television, Mimi has recently been seen in guest starring roles on hit shows such as "Ghost Whisperer" (2005) and "NCIS" (2003). She is well recognized for her iconic role as Detective Patsy Mayo on "Hill Street Blues" and has received Gemini nominations for her performances as "Rita Kapeli" in the CBC drama "Little Criminals" (1996) and as Deputy Chief Kay Barrow in "Blue Murder" (2001). In 2013, Mimi ventured into the world of motion capture with the video game "Splinter Cell: Black List". Her recent credits include "Pegasus Vs.
