Miles Meehan's life journey began in Lexington, Kentucky, where he spent his early years perfecting his craft in the world of acting, singing, and performing. His professional career kickstarted at the tender age of six when he landed the role of a lifetime in the film "Lawn Dogs." Following this impressive debut, Miles continued to hone his skills by taking on local and regional projects, including commercials and musical theater.
As his talent and reputation grew, Miles was soon cast in the independent film "Breakfast with Arty," where he had the opportunity to work alongside blues legend Rufus Thomas. This experience only fueled his passion for the craft, and Miles went on to join the 3rd National Tour of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" in 1999. For an impressive ten months, Miles played the beloved role of Chip, performing in front of audiences across the United States. This tour also marked a significant milestone in Miles' career, as he earned his Actor's Equity Association membership, a status he still maintains to this day.
Despite his success in the entertainment industry, Miles' teenage years were marked by a shift in focus towards his education. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, where he also had the unique opportunity to serve as the university's mascot, "Scratch," for three and a half years. Additionally, Miles is currently working towards his Master's degree in Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Although his academic pursuits have taken center stage, Miles has not abandoned his passion for performing. He continues to audition and has plans to return to the stage and screen in the future.
