Biography

Mila Kunis, a talented Ukrainian-American actress, was born to a Jewish family in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, a city with a rich cultural heritage.

Her family's move to the United States was a result of the unfortunate experience of antisemitism in the former Soviet Union, which made it difficult for them to maintain their Jewish traditions.

Despite the challenges posed by the Soviet Union's restrictions on religious practices, Kunis' parents instilled in her a strong sense of Jewish heritage, teaching her about her family's traditions and customs.

After settling in Los Angeles, Kunis was enrolled in Rosewood Elementary School, where she initially struggled due to her limited English skills and hyperactivity, which was later diagnosed as ADHD.

This diagnosis led to a prescription for Ritalin, a medication she continues to take as an adult, and also sparked her interest in acting.

At the tender age of nine, Kunis started her acting career when her father discovered an acting class on the radio and decided to enroll her in it.

It was here that she met her future agent and began to develop her skills as an actress.

Her early start in the industry led to her first gig in the 1995 film Make a Wish, Molly, where she played the character Melinda.

From this point on, her career began to skyrocket, with roles in big-budget films that showcased her versatility as an actress.

Although she is perhaps best known for her role as Jackie Burkhart on the popular TV show That '70s Show, which aired from 1998 to 2006, Kunis has proven herself to be a talented actress capable of taking on a wide range of roles.

In addition to her work on That '70s Show, Kunis has also provided the voice of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy since 1999.

Her breakthrough film role came in 2008 with the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, where she played the free-spirited character Rachel Jansen.

She has since starred or co-starred in a number of successful films, including Max Payne, The Book of Eli, Black Swan, Friends with Benefits, Ted, and Oz the Great and Powerful.

In her personal life, Kunis is married to actor Ashton Kutcher, with whom she has two children.

Throughout her career, Kunis has demonstrated her ability to adapt to a wide range of roles and genres, cementing her status as a talented and versatile actress in the entertainment industry.
