Mike, a seasoned professional with an impressive 35-year tenure in the industry, has honed his expertise as a First Assistant Director and Unit Location Manager, boasting an extensive portfolio that spans numerous major films in the UK and abroad.
Born into a family with a strong creative foundation, Mike's father being a Stills Photographer, he naturally developed a passion for the arts. This innate curiosity led him to begin his career in the theatre, where he gained valuable experience in London's vibrant West End.
As his passion for film production grew, Mike made the transition to the big screen, working as an Assistant Director in various capacities. He has also demonstrated his versatility by directing 2nd Units, showcasing his ability to adapt to diverse roles.
In addition to his extensive industry experience, Mike has also shared his knowledge and expertise by devising and teaching short courses in Location Management and Assistant Direction for the N.S.C.T.P at the National Film and Television School, located in Beaconsfield, U.K.
