Michelle Derosier, a remarkable individual of the Anishinaabe tribe, is the co-owner of the esteemed film production company, Thunderstone Pictures Inc., based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Notably, she co-founded the groundbreaking Biindigaate Indigenous Film Festival and played a pivotal role as its festival director. As an award-winning filmmaker hailing from the Migisi Sahgaigan (Eagle Lake First Nation) in Northwestern Ontario, Derosier has established herself as a talented creative force. Moreover, she is a devoted mother to three lovely daughters and a doting grandmother to three adorable granddaughters.
