In high school, Michelle excelled in various extracurricular activities, earning the titles of 2-time MVP Gymnast, flag & rifle corp Kadette, and Editor of the school newspaper. Her uncle, a former Columnist for the LA Times, played a significant role in inspiring her to pursue a career in journalism.
