Biography

Michael McFadden, a talented individual, was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, to Maria, whose parents were Italian immigrants, and J. Michael, of Irish descent. He had a younger sister, Rachel Janine, who sadly passed away in 1994.

Before embarking on his acting career, Michael took a unique path. He attended The University Of The Arts in Philadelphia on a scholarship, initially pursuing a major in opera. However, he successfully auditioned for the school's theater program, which led him to leave U of A after just one year.

Michael then ventured to New York City, where he met his friend and mentor, William Hickey, an Academy Award-nominated actor, and studied at HB Studio. To make ends meet, he worked as a taxi driver, waiter, and bartender, all while immersing himself in the theatre.

During this time, Michael played a diverse range of roles, including MacDuff and Romeo at The Frog And Peach, a Shakespeare repertory company, as well as Victor in a musical adaptation of Frankenstein and Stephen in Israel Horovitz's "Line" at The Thirteenth Street Repertory Company.

In recent years, Michael has co-starred in several notable projects, including the HBO original series "Gotham" (2016),"The Deuce" (2017),and the Amazon original series, "The Tick" (2017). He also starred alongside Ice-T in the feature film, "Bloodrunners", which was released worldwide on March 7, 2017. Notably, Michael co-wrote the film with director Dan Lantz.
