Michael Madison, a multi-talented individual, embarked on his acting journey by studying at the prestigious Playhouse West in North Hollywood, where he received private lessons from the renowned actress Diane Venora.
After graduating from Texas Tech University, Michael moved to Los Angeles, where he landed his first job as a temp at a Giant Screen/Imax Theater development company. It was during this time that he met his future producing partner, an encounter that would lead to the formation of Nelson Madison Films.
Michael's early success in the industry was marked by the production of his first film, NSYNC Bigger Than Live, an IMAX/Giant Screen concert film, which was an incredible opportunity that showcased his capabilities as a producer. This experience laid the foundation for Nelson Madison Films, where Michael writes, directs, edits, and acts.
In addition to his work as a producer, Michael continued to hone his acting skills by studying at Playhouse West, a renowned acting studio founded by Jeff Goldblum and Robert Carnegie. His acting teachers included Mark Pelligrino, Eric Edwards, Sean Barnes, and Chris Liebe, and he was fortunate to be part of a talented community that included prominent alumni such as James Franco, Scott Caan, Ashley Judd, and Mark Pelligrino.
Michael's directorial debut, Shifted, a SAG feature-length crime drama, premiered at film festivals, showcasing his skill as a director. He played the lead role alongside a talented cast, including Jeris Lee Poindexter, Frankie Ray, Jill Wagner, and Vanessa Johannson.
Michael's latest feature film, Delivered, recently debuted on various digital platforms, including iTunes, Amazon VOD, Google Play, and M-Go. This SAG film received critical acclaim for its innovative use of technology to produce a compelling story with an efficient workflow. CNN film critic Nick Nicholson praised the film, stating, "Delivered is a damn good film." He also commended Michael's performance, saying, "Madison is very believable in his role and will make you root for him along the way."
In addition to his work in film, Michael has also directed, edited, and acted in six national commercials for Vehix.com.
