Michael Jason Allen's acting career began with a day player role in the Columbia Pictures movie "What Planet Are You From" starring John Goodman, Annette Bening, Greg Kinnear, and Ben Kingsley, released in 1999.
He went on to star in national television commercials for various brands, including Yosh Fragrances, HGTV, and the California Board of Tourism, among others.
Continuing to work in the entertainment industry, Michael landed roles in films, television commercials, and shows on FOX and the W Network.
In 2008, he founded his feature film production company, He Said She Said Productions, which has since produced 12 award-winning or nominated independent feature films.
Michael has not only acted in these films but also written, directed, and produced them, and has performed the cinematography in nine of them.
In addition to his work in film, Michael is also the lead vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter for his electronica-pop-rock alter ego, "Jason Mysteria", releasing many albums and music videos under this pseudonym.
In early 2025, he released a 1980s-era feature film called "Moon Valley Quest", based on his Jason Mysteria character.
