In addition to his extensive work in television, Michael has also made a significant impact in the world of film. He wrote, directed, and edited the micro-budget feature "Man in the Street," which was proudly showcased at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival in 2003.
One of Michael's most notable achievements is the creation of "Tengers," South Africa's first-ever animated feature. This ambitious project, which spanned nearly a decade from 1999 to 2007, earned widespread recognition and acclaim. "Tengers" was selected for over 30 international film festivals, ultimately winning four prestigious awards.
Since the success of "Tengers," Michael has continued to push the boundaries of his creativity, working on a diverse range of projects. His impressive portfolio includes writing, producing, directing, and editing various shorts and features, such as "Teddy," "The Game of My Life," "Strings," "Bipolar," "Mad Cow," "Double Click," and "Accession."
