Michael, an acclaimed screenwriter and playwright, has made a name for himself in the industry with his thought-provoking and often dark subject matter.
Initially, Michael's writing career took a different turn as he started out as a sports columnist for various newspapers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
However, his true passion for storytelling soon led him to shift his focus to screenwriting, and his first-produced feature film, "The Suicide Theory", premiered at the prestigious TCL Chinese Theaters on Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, California in 2014.
The film received widespread critical acclaim, winning several awards on the festival circuit, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Dances With Films Festival, the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival, and the Special Jury Prize at the Melbourne Underground FF.
As a result, the film was picked up for distribution in the U.S. and Canada via Freestyle Releasing and had a limited release in select theaters before becoming available on various digital platforms, including Netflix, Itunes, Amazon, and DVD.
Interestingly, "The Suicide Theory" was ranked #5 on The Guardian's Top 10 Australian Films list for 2015 and boasts a respectable 78% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
