Michael "Guy" Allen, a multi-faceted individual who has traversed diverse career paths, from being a pre-teen boy-bander to serving as a combat veteran, childcare specialist, and ultimately, an actor, made his feature film debut in 2010 after returning from his time in Afghanistan.
He secured his first feature-length film role in the patriotic family drama, The Pledge, which was awarded a Dove Award and starred Terry Kiser, famous for his role in Weekend At Bernies, alongside Rob Garrison, known for his appearance in Karate Kid.
In the same year, Michael Guy gained recognition for his starring role in Memory Lane, a Sci-Fi thriller written and directed by Shawn Holmes, which garnered praise in the independent circuit as "the cinematic wonder shot for $300".
He later reunited with many of the cast and crew members from The Pledge for his next film, A Christmas Tree Miracle, which won a Dove Award and featured Kevin Sizemore, known for his role in Under The Dome.
