Michael, a second-generation Brooklynite and Italian American, was born in the vibrant city of New York. From a young age, he was encouraged by his parents to explore his creative side, providing him with artist materials, educational opportunities, and approved apprenticeships to nurture his talents.
Michael's artistic journey began at the prestigious "Brooklyn Museum School of Fine Art and The Arts Students League of New York", where his work earned him numerous awards, scholarships, and exhibitions. His exceptional skills and dedication caught the attention of Parsons School of Design, and he went on to become a fashion designer.
For several years, Michael worked on Pret a Porte and Couture collections, honing his skills and building his reputation in the fashion world. However, it was the collaborations he undertook to create costumes that truly inspired him to pursue a career in entertainment.
As Michael transitioned to a new phase of his life, he relocated to Los Angeles, but it was his return to his hometown of New York that led him to join "Jerome Robbins Broadway" and subsequently become a member of Theatrical Wardrobe Union 764 and United Scenic Artist Union 829. These unions opened the doors to a thirty-plus-year career in the entertainment industry.
Throughout his career, Michael has continued to maintain his fine art practice, showcasing his talents as a multi-faceted creative individual. He is also a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild, a testament to his dedication and passion for the arts.
