Biography

Mia Stallard, a native of New Mexico, embarked on a consistent acting career at the tender age of five, after being scouted by a prominent casting director in the Southwest at a grocery store in Taos.

This serendipitous encounter led to her booking her first speaking role in the film Off The Map, a movie that explores the theme of living off the grid in New Mexico.

As her career progressed, Stallard expanded her work in film and television, securing her first leading role by the age of 11 in the film Inhale. This movie tells the poignant story of a dying girl, played by Stallard, in urgent need of a lung transplant, and the extraordinary measures her parents, played by Dermot Mulroney and Diane Kruger, would take to save her.

In addition to her acting endeavors, Stallard has also demonstrated her creative talents by receiving an honorable mention at the Athena Awards for a short screenplay she wrote. Her subsequent projects have seen her working alongside renowned actors such as Dennis Hopper, Jackie Chan, and Jessica Alba.

In recent years, Stallard has continued to grow her acting portfolio, booking a recurring role on the television show Midnight Texas, which is set to replace Grimm on NBC in March 2017.

When she's not preparing for auditions, Stallard is actively involved in supporting animal causes and pursuing a lifestyle that is committed to organic and sustainable living. She is also an avid dancer, creating artwork in various mediums, and loves to travel, having spent extended time working on a horse ranch in New Zealand in 2015.
