Mia Michaels

Mia Michaels was born in Coconut Grove, Florida, to a family of dancers. Her father, Joe Michaels, a dance teacher, taught her jazz, tap, and ballet, while her sister, Dana, taught her contemporary dance. Despite beginning her training with family members, Mia also honed her skills at the Miami Conservatory, the Miami Performing Arts Center, Michigan's Interlochen Arts Academy, and the New World School of the Arts.
