Mercedes Mason, a talented actress, embarked on an international modeling career at the tender age of 13 after being discovered by FORD modeling agency while attending high school. As she grew older, she simultaneously pursued higher education, studying psychology in college. Her first foray into acting came when she booked an audition opposite Vince Vaughn in the 2006 film The Break-Up.
Following her college graduation, Mason landed a starring role in Red Sands (2009) alongside Shane West and J.K. Simmons. She then reprised her lead role in the Sony Screen Gems film Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011),the sequel to the cult favorite Quarantine (2008). Her performance in Three Veils (2011) earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the UK International Filmmaker Festival in 2011. The film went on to win numerous awards, including Best Feature Film at the ARPA International Film Festival.
Mason's impressive acting career continued to flourish, with notable roles in TV shows such as Entourage (2004),The Closer (2005),Traffic Light (2011),and Chuck (2007). She also had recurring roles in Californication (2007),NCIS: Los Angeles (2009),and Anger Management (2012) opposite Charlie Sheen.
In addition to her television work, Mason has appeared in several films, including the FOX spin-off series The Finder (2012),opposite Oscar-nominated Michael Clarke Duncan. She also starred in the ABC hit series 666 Park Avenue (2012) alongside Emmy Award winner Terry O'Quinn and Emmy-nominated Vanessa Williams.
As of 2018, Mason can be seen playing the role of Captain Zoe Andersen in the ABC series The Rookie.
