Biography

Melissa Coles, a dynamic individual with a fiery passion for the performing arts, has always dreamed of taking center stage on Broadway and in Hollywood. Unlike many who let their childhood aspirations fade, Melissa's tenacity and determination drove her to pursue her goals. She immersed herself in drama, literature, and theater, conquering the high school stage with ease.

However, life had other plans, and Melissa faced unexpected challenges that left her battered and broken. Despite her valiant efforts, her dream was eventually replaced with the harsh realities of life, and the flame that once burned so brightly in her heart was extinguished.

Melissa's journey took a dramatic turn when she gave birth to a child and made the selfless decision to place him for adoption in a loving Christian home. Years later, she was reunited with her son, and this experience was documented in the film "I Lived on Parker Avenue." The exposure led to her involvement in the feature film "Lifemark," produced by Alex and Stephen Kendrick, along with Kirk Cameron, in which she made several appearances.

The experience of being on the set of "Lifemark" rekindled a fire within Melissa, who had thought her dreams were long forgotten. This newfound passion has driven her to continue pursuing her acting career, refusing to let obstacles stand in her way.

Melissa is a multifaceted individual, exuding confidence and a "take no prisoners" attitude. She embodies the spirit of a true fighter, having grown up as a tomboy who excelled in traditionally male-dominated activities. Her proficiency in shooting guns, throwing knives, and participating in extreme sports like four-wheeler riding and archery is a testament to her fearlessness and thirst for adventure.

Melissa's love for storytelling is evident in her desire to play a wide range of characters, from the grieving mother to the dark and brooding villain. Above all, she longs to portray a bad girl, channeling her inner Marion Ravenwood from Indiana Jones.

Melissa's ultimate goal is to use her acting platform to help people escape the harsh realities of the world and find solace in the stories she tells. She hopes to showcase her sarcastic humor and serve as a role model for young girls who share her passion and determination.

When I reflect on Melissa Coles, I am reminded of the iconic quote from Rocky Balboa: "It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward." Melissa Coles is a shining example of this philosophy, and I am honored to know her.
