Meg Barrick's early life was marked by her upbringing in Wheeling, West Virginia, where she was born and raised. As the only child of Larry Barrick, a computer systems analyst, and Judy Barrick, an occupational therapist, Meg was encouraged to explore her passions from a young age.
After graduating from Wheeling Park High School in 2008, Meg made the bold decision to leave her hometown and pursue a career in modeling in New York City. This move marked the beginning of her journey into the entertainment industry, as she soon found herself being sent on acting auditions.
However, it was during this time that Meg discovered her true passion lay not in modeling, but in acting. She began studying at The Alan Gordon Studio in the West Village, where she honed her skills in The Meisner Technique, scene study, and audition technique under the guidance of renowned acting coach Alan Gordon.
Over the course of two years, from winter 2009 to fall 2011, Meg immersed herself in her craft, perfecting her skills and gaining valuable experience. Her next move was to the West Coast, where she relocated to Los Angeles, California in the fall of 2011.
In Los Angeles, Meg continued her acting studies at the Joanne Barron/D.W. Brown Studios, where she worked under the direction of Lisa Millilo to further develop her scene study and audition technique. With a keen sense of determination and a passion for her craft, Meg has been actively auditioning for roles and building her resume in the competitive Los Angeles acting scene.
