Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Maya's impressive career trajectory began with her debut short film, GASHOLE, which won the Grand Prize at the 2018 New Filmmakers LA On Location: LA Video Project short film competition.
Ferrara is perhaps most well-known for her work in the films The Local (2009) and We Are Brain (2014),as well as her recurring role as the Basecamp PA in The Greatest Event in Television History (2013-2014).
Maya received her formal training at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio in New York City, where she honed her craft and prepared herself for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
