Biography

Chris's tenure on the popular children's television program Blue Peter was unfortunately marked by his discomfort in front of the camera, ultimately leading to his departure after a relatively short 21-month stint. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career, as he transitioned into the world of journalism.

As a war correspondent, Chris found himself stationed in Beirut, Lebanon, where he would later vanish for a period of 18 days, leaving his colleagues and loved ones in a state of distress and uncertainty.

Years later, in 1995, Chris was working as a journalist for Channel 4 and ITN in the Balkans, when he was brutally beaten by a group of Serb civilians protesting the treatment of Kosovan Albanians. This traumatic event would likely have a lasting impact on Chris's life and career.
